Taxable Sales

Tracking its robust housing market, taxable sales in Desert Hot Springs increased from $44 million in 1990 to $93 million in 2005. Since 2002, yearly gains have ranged from 9% to 12%.

From 1990-2004 Desert Hot Springs’s per capita sales went from $3,672 to a record $4,308, up $637 or 4.9%.
